Houston, Texas – SAFER Systems, the global technology leader in chemical emergency management solutions, will be hosting a Technology Showcase from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 20, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Houston, Texas. Advanced registration is required to attend the event. The showcase is open to both private and public sector organizations and individuals involved in chemical/hazmat emergency management and response.
The Technology Showcase is an all-day, no-cost event sponsored by SAFER Systems featuring technologies that can be combined to form an effective chemical emergency management and response solution for a wide variety of industrial and public sector applications. Sessions will be held throughout the day demonstrating key features of SAFER Systems products and their real-world application in planning for, detecting, responding to, documenting and analyzing chemical emergency events.
In addition to the SAFER Systems solutions, there will be presentations and demonstrations of hardware technologies including gas sensors and meteorological stations and their use in various industrial settings, such as refining—particularly relevant to the greater Houston area.
“This showcase will be one of the year’s highlights for SAFER Systems because it is a forum for spotlighting important chemical emergency response technologies and how valuable they truly are in providing essential event decision-making information in a range of emergency situations,” says Ernie Gilbert, president of SAFER Systems.
Speakers and presenters for the event include SAFER Systems representatives and guest speakers from RAE Systems and Sionex Corporation, as well as others who will be confirmed shortly. For more information or to sign up to attend the event, go to www.safersystemv10.com/showcase.
