Community Bank Announces Key Promotion:
Alan Buckle Named Senior Vice President and Regional Manager
Burbank, Calif. – Community Bank, an independent business bank that has served Southern Californian communities for 65 years, has promoted Alan Buckle to Senior Vice President and Regional Manager.
The promotion is a big one for both Buckle and Community Bank. Buckle was brought on to Community Bank only one year ago in 2009 as their First Vice President and Business Center Manager for their Burbank location. As Senior Vice President and Regional Manager, Buckle is now responsible for five of the bank’s business centers. Buckle is looking to leverage the bank’s strong capital position and liquidity to attract new commercial relationships.

Prior to working for Community Bank, Buckle acted as Managing Director of Asset Management at Alliance Bank for five years, and held a number of senior positions during the 22 years he worked for Bank of the West (formerly Sanwa Bank).

Community Bank Promotes Charles Rosen to Executive Vice President of Market Management
Burbank, Calif. – Community Bank, an independent business bank that has served Southern Californian communities for 65 years, has promoted Charles Rosen to Executive Vice President, Market Management – a position that covers the entire bank.
Rosen first joined Community Bank in 2004 as a Vice President Relationship Manager and Team Leader, and was promoted in 2007 to First Vice President Branch Center Manager of the Burbank Regional Office and then again one year later to Senior Vice President, Regional Manager. With this latest promotion to Executive Vice President, Rosen feels he is in a strong position to oversee Community Bank’s sales processes, services and strategic initiatives, and make any necessary improvements to increase the bank’s productivity and impact in the community.
“Chuck has been an integral part of Community Bank’s success in this region for more than five years now,” says David Malone, president and CEO of Community Bank. “This is a well-deserved promotion, and one that will prove fruitful for Community Bank and our continued presence throughout all of Southern California.”
Prior to working for Community Bank, Rosen worked for Bank of America for 25 years in both the retail and commercial bank. Rosen is also on the executive board for the Burbank Chamber of Commerce and treasurer for the Burbank Rotary Foundation.
