SAFER Systems Expands Its Product Development & Go-To-Market Capabilities as Deborah Vavra Becomes the Company’s First Product Evolution and Implementation Leader
Camarillo, Calif. – SAFER Systems, the global technology leader in chemical emergency management solutions, has hired Deborah Vavra to fill a pivotal new product management role in the organization as its first Product Evolution and Implementation Leader.
Vavra’s primary responsibilities will be to evolve and enhance the company’s current portfolio of products and services, and to focus and synchronize the organization’s implementation of those products and services. She will work closely with the company’s R&D, engineering, sales and marketing teams to ensure that current products improve and new ones are created in a timely manner based on identified customer and market needs.

Prior to joining SAFER Systems, Vavra was a Professional Services Consultant for four years, providing product and process improvement, as well as documentation services, to a variety of national and global companies, including Amgen, The Walt Disney Company and Mighty Net, Inc. Before that, she spent a number of years as Product Manager at Countrywide Financial Corporation and has also served in the role of Test Engineer and Technical Editor/Illustrator at other local companies.
Vavra believes in the power of volunteerism and actively participates as a board member and volunteer in a number of foundations and civic organizations in the greater Los Angeles area.
