West Hills Hospital & Medical Center opened a $60 million, state-of-the-art emergency department and critical-care unit in May, nearly a decade after the project was first proposed. Later, the internationally known Grossman Burn Center moved from Sherman Oaks Hospital after 40 years to West Hills Hospital & Medical Center, where its operators hope to expand the reach and quality of its care.
