Every Tuesday, the Mustang staff eats lunch together at a local restaurant that falls in the price range of about $10 per person. For 2012, we’ve decided to try a new restaurant every Tuesday. Yep, that’s 52 different restaurants to try this year!
Letty’s Mexican Restaurant in Newbury Park was the place to be for Taco Tuesday! For a buck and a quarter, you can get a tex mex taco with your choice of beef, chicken, pork, pastor, or Michael’s favorite beef tongue!
“My Grandma would definitely approve of this place being ‘authentic'”, said Michael who gave the restaurant five “m’s”.
“It’s good,” said Randall who ate 9 tacos, “but the tacos from the market next door taste much better—we’ll save that for another Tuesday though.”
Overall, the restaurant received an average of 4 “m’s” from the team.
