Every Tuesday, the Mustang staff eats lunch together at a local restaurant that falls in the price range of about $10 per person. For 2012, we’ve decided to try a new restaurant every Tuesday. Yep, that’s 52 different restaurants to try this year!
After Michael returned from his trip from Hawaii, the Mustang team thought it’d be nice to let him choose our Tuesday lunch destination. Nobody blamed him when he said, “All I want is a burger.”
So, Five Guys Burgers and Fries were this week’s “victims” of the Mustang Marketing invasion. Although the chain is popular around the U.S., some team members had never experienced the classic hamburgers of Five Guys.
“My burger was fine,” said Ginny, a Five Guys first-timer, “but the best part was the Cajun fries.”
“I really liked that I got a choice of so many toppings for free,” Randall said of his heaping burger. “But I hate their logo, it doesn’t look like a burger-joint logo at all.”
“I didn’t really understand all the hype about this place,” Michael said, “but it did the job.”
The Mustang team didn’t love their meals, but they didn’t hate them either. The restaurant earned an average 3 m rating.
