The technology of moving images has come a long way from the GeoCities GIFs of the 90’s to the latest full movie GIFs. Animated GIFs are even showing up on major media publications as the perfect middle ground between a standard small image and large, difficult to load, media-rich video. And, in our universe of information overload, GIFs are a simple way to capture a perfect reaction or comical moment (and to embarrass the subject of the GIF by preserving unflattering images on the internet for eternity).
Here at Mustang we have taken things up a notch and started creating our own GIFs. The result? We have found an excellent opportunity to laugh at ourselves and a great source of stress relief!
Whether Michael’s been included in a meeting that’s running a few hours too long, Danny is being especially productive today, or Jess is …well, attempting to rally the troops, GIFs never fail to get the point across. And when we’re working like crazy to meet all our client deadlines while fielding countless emails, GIFs have become a fun way to capture attention and break through the clutter.
