We’re already in the midst of summer, and we can’t believe how fast it’s flying by. While the weather has been hot and some of us have been trying to stay cool, others have been soaking up the sun at the beach or traveling out of state to visit family and friends! We thought there’s no better time to stop and share what fun plans the Mustang team has in store this summer besides working of course!
Here’s what we’ve been up to (or will be doing!):
Scott – “In addition to working hard for our clients, and writing novels, RV road trips through the Old West will be the highlight of my summer.”
Dianne – “We had a McKay family reunion outside Eugene, Oregon. We call them ‘McChaos’ for all the reasons you can imagine if you know the clan. Sometime in late July, I will become a grandma when my daughter Carly has her baby boy, Gary James Little. Also, Duncan and I hope to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and his 60th birthday in late August by going to see my son Bennett perform at The Fringe in Scotland.”
Nerissa – “I visited my grandparents in South Carolina and it was the first time I’ve seen them in 12 years. We all went down to Myrtle Beach for the Fourth and set off fireworks on the beach.”
Ally – “Spending time at the beach. I’m also a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding in Washington in August.”
Ric – “My entire family (total of 11 people and three separate families) will spend a week in and around Las Vegas. We are staying in three condos at the Tahitian Village. One event that all of us will do together is attend a Las Vegas 51’s baseball game and also an escape room.”
Billy – “Going to the beach with my family!”
Brett – “I’m heading up to the Laguna Seca Raceway in Salinas for the historic car races in August, and riding as much as possible, of course! I might just buy a new bike before the end of summer. We’ll see how that plays out.”
Jess – “Disneyland, house projects, spending time with my family and barbecues!”
Emma – “Beach, my birthday and staycations in Southern California. My next trips will be my friend’s bachelorette party in Nashville in October, and then I will be spending Thanksgiving with my family in Maui.”
Chris – “Enjoying our new chickens and regular escapes to Big Bear.”
Kyle – “I’ll be doing improv on several Saturdays at the Ventura Harbor Comedy Club and Wednesdays at VinTura. I’ll probably also audition for a couple of shows that would play late summer or early fall.”
Steve – “Camping and some home improvement projects.”
Jennifer – “Spending time with family and friends, and building my boys a clubhouse in the backyard.”
Angie – “Nights out in Hollywood and going to the beach, camping and hiking.”
Whether we’re catching the next flight or staying around town, we sure do have a lot going on this summer, especially in our own backyard! For those of you staying local, you might just want to check out the Ventura County Fair beginning August 1st or the Oxnard Salsa Festival on July 28th. Maybe a trip to the beach or two? Whatever you find yourself doing this summer, we hope you stay cool and most importantly, have fun!
